Gravelbourg Flu Clinic Oct 26 & Nov 1
Keep yourself and your loved ones safe this flu season. Get your flu shot at a public health clinic near you.
The publicly-funded (free) flu vaccine will be available in Saskatchewan starting October 22, 2018. The free vaccine is being offered through public health clinics across the province. Vaccine is also available in some physician and nurse practitioner offices and in local pharmacies. Gravelbourg Public Health will be hosting their clinics October 26 and November 1 at the Parish Hall from noon to 6:30pm. Anyone six months of age and older can receive the flu vaccine and is encouraged to get vaccinated early in the season. The flu vaccine is a safe, effective way to help people stay healthy, prevent illness and save lives.
Getting vaccinated is especially important for people at high risk of complications (pregnant women, young children, the elderly and persons with underlying health conditions) and their caregivers.
Hand hygiene is one of the most important ways to prevent the spread of germs. Please wash your hands regularly and properly to minimize risk to yourself and those around you.
Know before you go
- Bring your Saskatchewan health card with you to receive your immunization.
- Be prepared to wait an additional 15 minutes after receiving your immunization.
