Town Council updated its Animal Control Bylaw in April 2026. All cats and dogs require a license and registration. The fee for both cats and dogs is $10.
How do I register my cat or dog?
- Visit the Town Office and complete the Pet Registration Form in person, and receive your tag(s) right away.
- Provide a photo of your adorable animal! Optional, but extremely helpful if your pet is lost or stollen.
- Pay the $10 license fee by cash, debit, cheque, or e-transfer
- You will receive a tag for your pet's collar. In the future, we will email you an invoice annually to renew your pet license.
What if my dog or cat is no longer in my possession or has passed away?
